On March 25, China Energy Construction International Group and Indonesia Bolima Co., Ltd. signed the mining and transportation contract of Luwuke laterite nickel mine project in Sulawesi Island, Indonesia, realizing the rolling development of the Indonesian mining market.
Indonesia has the largest nickel reserves in the world, accounting for 52% of the world's total nickel reserves. The project is located in Sulawesi Island, which accounts for about 80% of Indonesia's total nickel resources, with a total area of about 1000 hectares. China Energy Construction International Group is responsible for organizing and executing the procurement and transportation service, with an annual transportation volume of 2 million tons. The contract term is 5 years. The scope of the project mainly includes mining surface cleaning, overburden stripping and ore stripping, mining, loading, transfer, transportation road maintenance during construction, etc.
