The whole Bagging Facility is composed of Frame; Surge Bin with double Air Hammers and Agitator; Belt Feeder with Gate Valve; Bagging Station with Weighing Conveyor, Bag Hanging Device and Bag Clamping Unit; Roller Conveyor; and Control Panel.
Wheel Loader dumps copper concentrate into Surge Bin which is lined with UHMW plastic liner (Tivar ®88) to protect bin interior, has double Air Hammers for assisting concentrate falling, and Agitator for breaking up caked concentrate. The copper concentrate falls on the Belt Feeder through the Surge Bin, then the concentrate is transported and lifted on the top of Bagging Station by Belt Feeder, finally the gate valve of Belt Feeder’s Chute discharges the concentrate to fill into big bag. The weight of filled concentrate into big bag is controlled by VFD driving Belt Feeder feeding rate, weighing controller and PLC.
